Jenn Andrews, M.A. is the founder of Yoga Sol in Carson City, Nevada. She has been studying yoga for almost twenty years now and was a yoga studio owner for over 5 years. In 2018, Jenn branched out worldwide to teach yoga and meditation both domestically and internationally.

Jenn Andrews has been studying Meditation Secrets for Women and Radiance Pranava Meditation for years with her teachers, Camille Maurine and Dr. Lorin Roche. She has been certified under their teachings and guidance and is faculty for both Meditation Secrets for Women and The Radiance Sutras Meditation Teacher Training.

As a meditation and yoga teacher Jenn is committed to developing a meditation practice that suits the needs of every individual student. Meditation and yoga are not a one-size fits all practices! In fact there are hundreds of techniques for meditating and so it could be a bit overwhelming to know which one is right for you. It is our philosophy that meditation should feel natural to you and that the essence of meditation is simple: What YOU love becomes the basis, the starting point and the foundation for your personal practice. Radiance Pranava Meditation is an instinctual style of meditation that embraces and accepts your unique desires and longing for the richness of life. Here, we are on a path of intimacy and our meditation is our loving attention to the Self.

I'm deeply immersed in the study of the human body. My background is in Neuroscience and Medicine. I studied for many years at the University of Washington, receiving a Bachelor's in Neurobiology and then a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. I'm also the author of the book The Yoga Doctor, through which I offer some of the knowledge I've gained to those who desire to practice yoga in a sustainable way.

I have found that the study of the human body can be a gateway into meditation and deeper contemplation. We're wonderfully complex creatures, full of mysteries. To appreciate this fully is to experience the same sense of wonder that a sunset or an ocean can evoke. I will offer you my knowledge, in the spirit of wonder. You contain universes within yourself; would you like to dive in?

I believe that our embodiment is a gift. I did my first yoga teacher training with former Buddhist monk Seongyoon Lee of Yoon's Yoga Bliss, and then became certified to teach yoga with Ali Valdez of Sattva Yoga. I've also become certified to teach yoga to kids with Liz Doyle of Little Friends Yoga, and to pregnant women and new mothers with Anne Phyfe Palmer of 8 Limbs Yoga. I’ve also completed two multi-year programs, studying meditation (including techniques for teaching meditation classes, small groups, and private meditation coaching sessions), with Dr. Lorin Roche and Camille Maurine, both celebrated authors and meditation guides. Through all of these practices, I unite body, mind, and spirit into the unified flow of life.

I love human connection. My 9-year-old daughter and my 12-year-old son continually teach me more about curiosity and wonder. My relationships encourage me to dive in to that web of connection that unites us all. I frequently collaborate on retreats worldwide; I love to see what happens when people come together to unite their passions and experience into a new creation.
